Saudi Post achieves the certificate of ISO/IEC 27001:2013
Saudi Post has obtained the global ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification for an Information Security Management System. ISO/IEC 27001, Information Security Management System is the most rigorous global standard for information security and confirms that an organization has put in place best practices for information security processes and is ensuring data integrity, confidentiality and customer asset safety.
Saudi Post was certified after a rigorous auditing of the facility and entire business operations by the British Standards Institution (BSI). The certificate was presented to Acting President of Saudi Post, Dr. Osama Altaf, from BSI at Saudi Post's head office in Riyadh
Soleiman Baydoun, Business development Manager for BSI Middle East and Africa, in congratulating Saudi post, said “it had fulfilled the requirements of this distinguished certification and recognize the advantages of implementing an Information Security Management System for itself, the stakeholders and its customers. Saudi post has clearly demonstrated that it operates to a global level of excellence”.
